Police and The People: A Deeper Conversation

Each year, there are over 50 million law enforcement-related interactions between police and citizens, and some encounters turn out to be unfortunate. Power 106.1 wants to give you the opportunity to discuss and learn about your rights and what to do if you are stopped.

Power 106.1′s Police and The People Forum will take place on Friday March 31st, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at the Farah & Farah Performance Studio. The event will be hosted by DJ Swagg & Wanda P. and feature an in-depth panel discussion with Sheriff T.K. Waters, Millicent Daniels (owner of Daniels Law Firm), Carmen Ress (owner of 1 Answer Away Bail Bonds) and other community leaders. We’ll address various police policies and inform you of your rights.
