Catty Shack Ranch launches fundraiser to help 14 new animals

The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary on the Northside is home to dozens of lions, cougars and even panthers.

The Catty Shack Ranch is bringing in 14 new animals on Friday.

Some of the news animals brought in include two bears, six foxes, and multiple African servals, caracal, and some bobcats.

New animals mean more responsibility, more space, and more money.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Catty Shack lost thousands of dollars. They are now begging the community to help raise money to make sure these new animals get the treatments and love they deserve.

Catty Shack Ranch is a non-profit organization, so they only have six employees. They rely solely on volunteers and sales of tickets.

A fundraiser has launched to help with lost funds.

“We’ve got a fundraiser going on Facebook or friends can also jump on our website and click the donate button,” Executive Director Curt LoGiudice said. “We also could use some extra hands over the next couple of weeks.”

If you would like to donate or learn more, visit the Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary Facebook page, or go to CattyShack.org.
