The City of Jacksonville announced that more testing sites are opening in Jacksonville “over the next few weeks”.
The new sites will be in Mandarin, on the Westside, in Arlington, on the Northside and throughout the Beaches communities. The sites in Neptune, Atlantic and Jacksonville beaches will be mobile testing sites. We also got more information about the status of Lot J. The city has said this “weather permitting” testing site will move to an indoor location. Officials expect to announce the new location within the next couple of weeks. According to the city, there will be 6 new “hard locations”.
There’s also a change to COVID-19 testing at the Legends Center. Starting today you’ll be able to wait in your car instead of standing outside. Also, you must remain on-site.

Over the next few weeks, we will have testing available in Mandarin, the Westside, Arlington, the Northside and the Beaches. These are all in addition to the sites currently in operation. (1/3)
We are also working to move the Lot J site to an indoor location that will not be impacted by weather.
