Rihanna, Beyoncé, Oprah and Shonda Rhimes among 'Forbes'' picks for America's richest self-made women

Forbes has returned with this year's iteration of its list of America's richest self-made women entrepreneurs, executives and entertainers. Representing music are Rihanna and Beyoncé, who place at #20 and #48, respectively.

According to the outlet, Rih has a net worth of $1.4 billion, mainly from music and her cosmetics line, Fenty x Beauty. Bey's net worth is a reported $540 million, courtesy of her music.

Also listed are Oprah Winfrey and Shonda Rhimes under the category of TV Shows. Oprah appears in the top 20, securing the #13 spot with her $2.5 billion net worth, while Shonda, whose net worth is a reported $250 million, just makes the list, landing in the 96th spot.
