After quarterback KJ Jefferson scored on a 34-yard quarterback draw in the first quarter of Saturday’s college football game against Rice, Jared Moore popped the question to Rainey Watson, KTHV reported.

“As soon as KJ scored the first touchdown, my dad offered to take mine and Jared’s picture,” Watson told the television station. “He was secretly videoing and Jared got down on one knee! I, of course, said Hog Yes! My dad and Jared had the whole thing planned out.”

“All right, this is going,” Watson’s father can be heard saying in the video. “Here we go.

“Y’all check this out,” the man continued as Watson said “Yes” and jumped into Moore’s arms. “Yes, sir.”

For a while, the marriage proposal was the only bright moment at Razorback Stadium. Arkansas trailed 10-7 at halftime in the team’s first full-capacity game at Razorback Stadium in two seasons, ESPN reported.

But the Razorbacks then scored on five of their last six possessions of the game to win the season opener 38-17, the sports network reported.
