“Sorry if we can’t feed your current crave. Due to national ingredient shortages and delivery delays, we may be out of some items,” the message stated.

A Taco Bell spokesperson declined to specify for Today Food which menu items have been affected by the shortages but cited “national transportation delays happening throughout most of the industry” for the disruption.

“Apologies for the inconvenience, and we hope to feed fans’ current Taco Bell cravings again soon,” the spokesperson wrote in an email to the outlet.

Although the shortages appear to vary widely by location, Twitter users mentioned chicken and hot sauce as two of the primary items vanishing from menus.

According to Fox Business, the hot sauce deficit is a direct result of a nationwide driver shortage.
