New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music is now offering a course that focuses on Taylor Swift, Variety reported.

The classes started on Jan. 26 and will run through March 9.

Rolling Stone writer Brittany Spanos is teaching the course that covers the singer, songwriter and actor’s rise as a “creative music entrepreneur, the legacy of pop and country songwriters, discourses of youth and girlhood and the politics of race in contemporary popular music,” according to Variety.

Students will learn about Swift’s songwriting and “develop greater sophistication in their artistic appreciation, critical thinking, research and writing skills,” Variety reported.

As expected, the class is popular and has a waitlist for prospective students.

Swift herself has been asked to speak to the class but has not yet agreed.
