Tributes have been coming in from around the hip hop industry for Jacksonville native DJ Bigga Rankin who passed away earlier this week from a statement released from his family.
Known as a musical influence with over thirty decades of experience help the careers of many artists like Jeezy, Plies, Rick Ross, and Yo Gotti while also helping local artists get exposure.
The passing of Bigga Rankin has also touched Power 106.1’s very own DJ Nasty who had the opportunity to interview him recently about the music scene in Jacksonville on News 4 Jax.
He spoke on the passing of his friend and mentor.
