Power 106.1’s Duval’s Finest XXL Artist Contest is back and better as we are looking for the best Hip Hop and R&B artist representing the 9-0-4 and surrounding areas.
While we are counting votes for our winner for February let me introduce you to our January winner who has set the tone for the remainder of this contest.
Just when you thought that R&B has lost it’s voice along comes this artist who sends a clear message that it never left as he brings a flavor that’s worthy of being Duval’s Finest for the month of January.
Meet 713 JMilly and his banger “Movie Scene” is making noise and someone to watch right here in Duval. The title alone gives a cinematic vibe as he pays homage to the old school artists and add his spin on it for the newer generation.
He stopped by the studio and talked about his humble beginnings in Houston where soul and passion ran deep as he made his transition to Jacksonville with the energy and new level of hustle shaped how his sound and mindset as an artist evolved into a breakout artist.
Outside of making music 713 JMilly also represents his brand RCKUT with passion, confidence and freedom where it’s not about making music, but creating moments.
