Naughton’s mystery man put a ring on it for Christmas. Yes, an engagement announcement usually comes with a cute pic of the happy couple. We’re sure the cute pics (of his face) exist but we don’t know how they look. The Power star spoke to Essence about her engagement and said she wasn’t ready to share the identity of her fiancé just yet.
The 36-year-old posted pics of her ring on Instagram. Her fiancé also put a ring on her daughter’s hand, signifying that she and Baby Zuri are a package deal. She says she was expecting a holiday photo shoot but it turned into something more. He also included Mickey and Minnie Mouse in the planned proposal.
She tells Essence she thanks her co-star Omari Hardwick for introducing her to her future husband. Naughton’s 3-year-old daughter is from a previous relationship.
