After unveiling the 10 MCs who made slots 41 through 50 on their Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list, Billboard/Vibe have revealed the next 10 artists.
Named in descending order, #40 through #31 are Dr. Dre, Ludacris, Gucci Mane, Common, Yasiin Bey, Future, Chuck D, Busta Rhymes, T.I. and Lil' Kim.
As reported, the list — which excludes reggaeton/dancehall MCs and artists outside of North America — is based on "body of work/achievements (charted singles/albums, gold/platinum certifications), cultural impact/influence (how the artist's work fostered the genre's evolution), longevity (years at the mic), lyrics (storytelling skills) and flow (vocal prowess)," according to Billboard and Vibe.
Rick Ross, Rev. Run, Jadakiss, Queen Latifah, Bun B and E-40 are among those listed in the 41 to 50 bracket.
