Jacksonville FL — One of the positives to come out of the pandemic is that more people are getting mental health services according to our Consumer Warrior Clark Howard. Clark says previously you would have had to go in person to get those services, but now you can do it virtually.
“One of the big unknowns is is your insurance company actually gonna pay for it if you do it virtually instead of face-to-face.” Clark says.
Clark says regardless people don’t usually have good mental health benefits at all with insurance, so you might want to look into alternative organizations for help. Clark suggests looking into churches since they will sometimes subsidize or provide mental health services.
