Jacksonville, Fl — Amid a hard year for tourism the annual Christmas-time event, Deck the Chairs, will return to Jacksonville Beach in November.
Deck the Chairs will open on November 21 at the Seawalk Pavilion and Latham Plaza in downtown Jax Beach, through January 1, 2021.
Organizers are making several adjustments including limited event programming and limited interactivity with the lighted chair displays.

“The Covid pandemic has taken its toll on our Beaches community. Business has been especially hit hard. Our hope is that the lights and free display will once again bring people into the Seawalk Pavilion and Latham Plaza park space, and that after visiting with us, they spend time and money with our friends in the service sector,” said Kurtis Loftus, Founder of Deck The Chairs.
Visitors will experience extra space between chairs, as well as hand sanitizing stations, and informational signs regarding public health policies.
