Getting to know the candidates for Jacksonville City Council At-Large Group 3

Tracye Polson and Nick Howland seeking to fill seat vacated by the late Tommy Hazouri

Jacksonville, Fl — Early voting begins Saturday for the special election to replace the late Jacksonville City Councilmember Tommy Hazouri. Two candidates are seeking the At-Large Group 3 seat - Tracye Polson and Nick Howland.

The two finished neck and neck in a special election in mid-December with just 632 votes separating them.

Early voting for the special election gets underway Saturday morning at the following locations and runs through February 20th.

Tracye Polson - Dr. Tracye A. Polson is a licensed clinical social worker with a private psychotherapy practice in Jacksonville, FL where she works with individuals, couples, and families focusing on the many forms of relational trauma.

Nick Howland - Nick Howland has been an executive in the defense industry for more than 20 years, focused on marine and defense survival products. He has had roles as President of military life raft manufacturer Revere Survival, Managing Director of Survitec Group, and as a director on various local and international corporate boards.
