JACKSONVILLE, Fla — Individuals and households in Putnam and St. Johns counties who were affected by Hurricane Nicole are now eligible to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance, which may include temporary housing assistance, basic home repairs and certain other uninsured disaster-related needs.

Brevard, Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties are also eligible for Individual Assistance from FEMA.
Survivors can apply for disaster assistance here by using the FEMA mobile app, or by calling 800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern Time. If you use a relay service such as video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service or others, give FEMA the number for that service.

Other local counties were approved for FEMA public assistance, which provides for emergency work and replacement of disaster-damaged facilities. Those counties include Duval, Nassau and St. Johns.
Other Florida counties also eligible for FEMA public assistance include Brevard, Flagler, Indian River, Martin, Palm Beach, St. Lucie and Volusia.
