Shaquille O'Neal teams up with Blackway on his new single "King Talk," his official rap return since dropping songs in the '90s. Speaking to People, he says the song, released in time to celebrate the NBA Playoffs, is "the type of record that gets me hyped like I'm walking out for Game 7 of the finals."

It also seemed fitting for LeBron James' accomplishment as NBA's all-time leading scorer, which is why he teased the song early on.

"[It was] so perfect for the moment when LeBron James set the NBA scoring record," Shaq explained, noting he "had to share it with the world."

"It was crazy to see so many people connect with the song when they heard the teaser, just like I did when we created it," he continued.

Shaq created "King Talk" with the help of producer Koko, with whom he'd been "sending beats back and forth" before landing on the one. He says when he heard the beat for the track, "I knew I had to jump on it."

Of his collaboration with Blackway, he says he was "waiting for the perfect moment."

"This was it," he adds of "King Talk."
